Jasmine Essential Oil is Jasminum grandiflorum from India - 5 mL of pure oil from one of the two jasmine species used in commercial extraction. Rich, sweet, floral, warm, with an earthy undertone.

The supplier states steam distillation - an unusual extraction method for jasmine, which more commonly reaches the trade as a solvent-extracted absolute. Steam distillation captures the lighter volatile fraction cleanly; absolutes capture the deeper indolic register that gives jasmine its characteristic animal-musk depth. The aromatic profile here sits between the two - lighter than a classical absolute, with the earthy undertone the supplier notes suggesting some indolic character is preserved.

Diffuser (1–2 drops), dilution into carrier for skin and pulse points, perfumery blending with rose, sandalwood, and bergamot, spray-bottle mist preparation. Use within 12 months of opening for best aromatic character.

A contemporary house of ancient materials

Maison Éthérique brings together incense, aromatic resins, botanical bundles, crystals and the objects used with them. From our house in Dubai, we explore their aromas, stories and traditions - a collection for personal rituals, familiar favourites and gifts with meaning.

For the meaning it holds

A familiar aroma can become part of a daily ritual. A stone can be kept as a symbol of protection; a botanical chosen for a practice of purification. Across the collection, scent, beauty and personal meaning offer different reasons to choose.
